Research directions: development and improvement of the legislation in the field of seed production; organization of seed production in the Center and sale of seeds to agricultural organization of the republic; coordination of work on seed production with Vitebsk Regional Institute of Agriculture, Grodno Regional Institute of Plant Breeding and regional agricultural experimental stations; development of moister, energy and resource saving systems of soil cultivation and complicated methods of weeds control; enhancement of techniques of integrated plant protection and reduction of herbicide load on the environment due to rational combinations of agrotechnical, phytocoenotic and chemical methods of weed destruction; conducting an agro-technical and agro-economic assessment of tillage machines under production conditions.
